You! Working with us means that unlike some other companies, you will retain all rights to your book, including your illustrations (for children's book packages), interior files, and cover design. Upon completion of the job, you will receive a folder with all of the book files used for your project.

At Sistahood Publishing, the author retains the copyright of the book as well as being known as the publisher for the book. The author does take the responsibility for sending in the copyright and purchasing the ISBN numbers. This is not the responsibility of Sistahood Publishing due to the confidentiality of the process.

Yes, once your files are completed, you will receive directions to send your book files to Amazon. For an upcharge, we will submit the files for you.

As of this moment, we do not offer editing services to authors. If a manuscript is to be submitted, it must be edited.

Sistahood Publishing offer does not offer editing services. Once the manuscript has been professionally edited, we can begin our work with you. If you need editing, please don't email us your mainscript! This should be done first!

The customer is responsible for purchasing their own ISBNs, not Sistahood Publishing.

ISBNs are required if you want your book to be available for online retailers, bookstores, and libraries. Sistahood Publishing suggests you purchase your own ISBN so that you own all of your work and the book can be available for retailers such as Amazon and BarnesandNoble.com. If you do not intend to sell your book and only plan to print copies to donate or give to family and friends, you may not need an ISBN Amazon do have a free ISBN but we do not recommened this.

It is the customer's responsibility to copyright their work before Sisterhood Publishing begins the project, we do not copyright work.

Sistahood Publishing does not print or offer print-on-demand services. After your book is complete and the final version is uploaded, you can choose how many books to order through KDP, IngramSpark, or another print-on-demand service, or other printers. Books are shipped directly to you. Authors can order any number of books they desire.
